Introduction

The Vine Church Compton is a Gospel-centered church family in Compton, CA, with a vision to become an extended family attaining to the fullness of Christ. Their focus is reaching out to the neighborhood and building relationships through the Holy Spirit and sharing the Good News.

I was asked to design a website and branding for them so that people would be able to locate them, connect with others in the area and also be able to support their community.

The Vine Homepage

Challenges

The client did not have a previous website so there was nothing to go off of as far as branding, however that also allowed for the ability to be creative and think through what might feel good to this small outdoor gathering of people.

Solution

It was important to come up with a look and feel that felt fresh for them but also communicated a welcoming and approachable design while also using colors that felt like they tied into what someone would think of when they look at a vineyard.

Conclusion

The design of the website provided the client with a user-friendly, visually appealing, and engaging place people could visit that provided accurate and reliable information. The user-centric approach to design ensured that the website provided a smooth and intuitive user experience. This website provided a fresh and modern look, aligning with the client's new brand identity and making the site stand out in the often similar looking sites in this area.
